Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop part and assembly models and correlating drawing packages for ease of manufacturing and efficiency, by both internal manufacturing as well as for outsourcing
- Design and detail to company-established and evolving standards
- Modify drawings as-needed to meet customer and management expectations
- Review design projects with internal and external customers
- Meet with customers as needed, primarily via web conference software (some travel may be possible to support sales efforts)
- Perform all duties as assigned by management
- Perform duties in a highly dynamic engineer-to-order environment
Your Experience Includes:
- Bachelor or Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering or Design, or Certificate of Completion from a specialized mechanical design school/program or Related Experience
- Openings for various experience levels, those with minimum experience listed below, or those with many more years of experience are encouraged to apply
- 5+ years of solid modeling experience
- Tooling Design Experience a plus
- OEM Machine Design Experience a plus
- Custom Automation Cell Design Experience a plus
- The ability to work both independently as well as in a team environment
- Ability to execute design work from Concept to Completion
- Excellent problem-solving skills. Analytical, organizational, communication, follow-up and people skills
- Strong Microsoft Office/software skills
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask while working under deadlines
